Our ranking is not for sale. The method behind the scores, its limits, and the assumptions we removed.
The Data Score combines public review ratings, review volume and profile transparency. It is not a score of medical outcomes, surgical quality or patient safety. Only components with available data are counted; missing data does not penalise a clinic.
| Component | Source | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Review rating | Google + Trustpilot (averaged, weighted by review count) | 50% |
| Review volume | Total number of reviews (logarithmic scale) | 25% |
| Profile transparency | Completeness of website, address, contact and doctor information | 25% |
When we confirm a clinic's licence from an official source, up to 1.0 point is added to the score. An unverified licence does NOT mean the clinic is unlicensed — only that we have not confirmed it yet. We made this a bonus rather than an averaged component: otherwise a clinic with an already high score could see it drop by getting its licence verified.
Calculated separately from social media follower counts and platform diversity. Because followers can be bought, it is excluded from the Data Score and shown separately on the clinic profile.
The previous version gave every clinic 6 out of 10 for accreditation, on the assumption that “every clinic listed in Türkiye is licensed”. We could not verify that assumption, so we removed it. Social media follower counts were also removed as a trust component.
Data is compiled periodically from Google, Trustpilot and clinics' official social media accounts. We store the source and last-updated date for every field; the last check date is shown on the clinic profile.
Scores rely on public sources, which can be manipulated with fake reviews, paid reviews or purchased followers. A high score is not a guarantee of medical quality. If you spot suspicious data, tell us — we will review and correct it.
Does not change: The Data Score, organic ranking and verification badges. Badges are not for sale.
Does change: Additional media management, photo galleries and reputation-monitoring tools.
Pages carry Google AdSense ads, and part of the site's revenue comes from them. Google selects the ads, we do not; an advertiser may happen to be a clinic, but that does NOT affect its Data Score, ranking or badges. Ad areas are marked with an “Advertisement” label.
Clinics cannot pay to rank higher in organic results. We do sell sponsored placement: a paying clinic appears in a separate block above the organic list, always marked “Sponsored”. The organic order still follows the Data Score alone, and sponsorship does not affect the Data Score.
